This Hand Forged Carving Axe is perfect for carving bowls, spoons,kuksa etc. Handle is made from ash tree and has the knob on the end so responsible to give you more control and comfort on the axe while using. The head of the axe features a slight curve to it, and a pronounced beard which give you the ability to hold it close to the blade, it allows you to make small cuts. The blade of axe made from hand forged and hardened 52100 steel. HRC 58-59. Sharpened and ready to use. Comes with a well fitted leather sheath.
