Are you a fan of Eastern Bloc rifles looking for a top-tier AK with serious durability and at the same time loaded with the best upgrade parts that could fit inside? A ready-to-go rifle that performs like a beast right out of the box and will annoy every opponent on the field? Then you are in the right place. Congratulations — you’ve just found the holy grail of modern airsoft AK rifles. AK, officially known as the Avtomat Kalashnikova, was developed in the Soviet Union by Mikhail Kalashnikov in the late 1940s. It became the standard assault rifle of the Soviet armed forces (AK-47) and thanks to its durability, reliability, and simplicity, it is still used around the world. The AK-47 uses the 7.62×39mm cartridge, known for effective stopping power. In the 1970s, the modernized AK-74 with a smaller 5.45×39mm cartridge was introduced. PRIME™ is the top tier. It represents the best, most refined, most tuned, and most reliable rifles that Specna Arms produces. In short, Specna took the excellent steel body of the J-Series Edge line with a Nano Coating surface for enhanced scratch resistance, and filled it with premium upgrade parts. The body is matte painted for an elegant look. The proven AK design offers comfortable handling and easy operation. If you want a universal airsoft AK built from the very best components that requires no additional investment, the PRIME™ J-Series is the right choice. From fast CQB drilling to a precise DMR rifle firing semi-auto — that is the magic of PRIME™. The package includes two S-MAG mid-caps (175 BBs) and a speedloader. The SA x KPYK PRIME™ series includes exclusive external parts from the Ukrainian company KPYK® (KRUK), specialized in extremely durable AK accessories for real firearms, tested in combat. The SA-PJ12 model features a metal folding skeleton stock and a KPYK® aluminum M-LOK handguard CRC 1U004 extended all the way to the muzzle, with M-LOK upper handguard and a top RIS rail. On the side, there is a Dovetail mounting rail for attaching AK or SVD-style side mounts. BLDC™ Internal Parts & GATE ASTER V3 ETU Inside the rifle you will find a precision brushless motor Dark Matter with 27,000–35,000 rpm. This motor provides higher efficiency and improved performance, while also increasing the rifle’s RoF and enhancing trigger response. It offers up to 5× more shots on the same battery charge than standard motors (5000 shots on 11.1V 1000mAh). The motor is housed in an aluminum casing for maximum durability, suitable even for M190 springs. The reinforced V3 gearbox can handle M140 AEG springs. Inside the gearbox there are CNC steel 16:1 gears — an ideal ratio providing both great RoF and durability even with stronger Specna Arms M135 springs. The 8mm J-Cage bearings include ball bearings on the bevel and spur gear, while the sector gear uses a bush bearing for improved durability. This configuration is the result of extensive testing of bearing combinations, achieving the best balance between strength and rotation speed. Reinforced polycarbonate piston with 14 teeth ensures ideal AoE and helps prevent jamming. It is strong yet does not slow the cycle. The piston features a CNC piston head with enlarged ports for optimal airflow toward the CNC double-sealed cylinder head, installed inside a ribbed stainless steel cylinder for cooling during rapid fire. Air is fed through a CNC nozzle, mounted on a reinforced tappet plate. Proper feeding is ensured by a strong tappet spring and a delay clip on the sector gear. The AK PRIME™ rifle is equipped with a GATE ASTER V3 electronic control unit, which ensures safe switching to protect internal components, enhances trigger response, extends battery life, increases RoF, and enables safe use of 7.4V and 11.1V Li-Po batteries. The battery connector is a T-Dean located under the receiver cover above the gearbox. The Aster V3 offers features like active brake, binary trigger, trigger sensitivity adjustment, precocking, and programmable firing modes including DMR mode. Precision is provided by a 6.02 mm inner barrel paired with a Helium Flat-Hop bucking and the redesigned MAGNUS™ chamber with TDC adjustment. The package includes three AEG springs (M90, M115, M135). Thanks to the ESA2 quick-change system, you can replace the spring in minutes by removing the stock tube and spring guide cover. We recommend purchasing the GATE Blu-Link Bluetooth module (product code: BLU-L) so you can configure the ASTER unit using the GCS app on Android, iOS, or Windows/Mac. All functions will be visible directly on your smartphone without trigger programming or a programming card. The app also allows you to update firmware. Without the module, settings are adjusted via trigger programming and not all ASTER V3 features are available. We recommend using only the included Specna Arms springs. If using springs from other brands, choose M120-class springs to avoid potential damage. If installing a spring with progressive (irregular) winding, make sure the tighter coil end faces outward toward the spring guide. Never store the rifle with the battery connected. Never store the rifle with the piston pre-cocked (pre-cocking mode active). Always release the piston before storage to avoid spring damage.
