96 mins. ‘Sir Nigel Gresley’ has always been cherished by LNER fans after being named after that railway’s Chief Mechanical Engineer at Marylebone station in 1937. This film celebrates the famous A4’s overhaul between 2015 and 2021. We see it in service and on test at Severn Valley Railway in 2022, where it was turned out in wartime black, and after a repaint into early BR blue livery, at Nene Valley Railway the following year.
